With #Easterweekend under the belt, the picture was not pretty.  We knew the #AnnualHoliday would give South Africans the biggest test yet.  We passed, but by the skin of our chins! Arrests were made, looting and torching of #Schools became a regular headline  – 55 was the last count I saw, that’s more than the #covid19 death rate!  What is that all about?  I don’t get the #SchoolTorching at all, am I missing something?

The #President called for those that are involved in crime to be swiftly dealt with and a great deal of calm was restored.  The level of influence that #CyrilRamaphosa has on social media is incredible, 117k engagements in the past 24hrs.

There is another hero in our midst, #ProfessorKarim addressed the nation last night, and basically took the #DA’s #SmartLockdownPlan and said, “where’s your science buddy”?  We felt reassured yet again in a time of turmoil by the incredible leadership we are witnessing. Kudos #ProfessorKarim, we all slept better last night!
